Abstract

Losing is the events that make someone anxious and panicked when losing valuable items caused by the carelessness of self. Events such as these often confusing someone in rediscovering the lost items. Especially in the city of Solo, frequent cases of missing or lost items finding, which is usually someone just made an announcement on social media or manually. Possible ways to solve the problem of missing or lost items finding, but still less effective because of the existence of a separate container to scope lost and of the findings items. Based on these issues, researchers aim to develop the missing item search application in Solo on web based. The method of application development using the method waterfall with several phases, namely requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Coding system using PHP and MySQL to develop applications for searching the missing items. Work process this application like online shop, contained process the upload and search for information about the missing items. Steps to claim this item, users can add a question to a certain uploads so that recognition of items more secure and precise. The result of the application that is developed it can ease to search lost and finding items in the city of Solo, as well as prevent claimed of item that wasn't true. Those results, it can be seen from the black box testing with a valid result. While the results of testing the questionnaire with the percentage of 85.88% stated the system according to your needs.
