Abstract
Household devices that are useful for converting motion energy into hydraulic energy are commonly referred to as centrifugal pumps. To function the pump requires energy from the outside that is using prime movers. The main point in this centrifugal pump machine is how smooth the water is pumped from the bottom surface passes the pump with the blade propulsion element and the impeller toward the tank. Therefore, it is important to know the designs of the centrifugal pump. The designs start from the main dimensions that include the power used, rotation, and voltage. For the power used is 4.7 kw, 3000 rpm engine speed and voltage used 220 volts, and then followed by the stator dimension and rotor dimension method, the stator dimension includes the results of the calculation of the main coil value on the stator, the length of the main coil, the coil value Auxiliary splits, the number of auxiliary spool coils on the stator, the length of the auxiliary coil, the capacitor value, the number, the stator current, the type of winding used and the planned insulation material. The dimensions of the rotor include the impeller diameter with a value of 60 mm, the diameter of the laker with a value of 25 mm, and the air gap with a value of 0.5 mm. Design of the designed pump centrifugal pump with a total head of 1.62 m with a water discharge of 30 dm3/s.
