Abstract
This study aims to develop a democratic attitude and responsibility through Learning Strategies Modification Model True or False and Debate Active in Civics Lesson in Class X 2 TKR in SMK Pancasila Surakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. The democratic attitude and responsibility of the students during the learning process in a low class before testing and teacher has been seeking alternative solutions, among others: by applying varied lecture, question and answer expected will develop democratic attitudes and responsibilities of the learning process in the classroom. The result of the use of the learning strategy has not been able to develop democratic attitudes and responsibilities of students in the process of learning in the classroom. The solutions offered in this research are the development of democratic attitudes and responsibilities through the modification model of True or False and Debate Active learning strategies. The subject of action is the students of class X 2 TKR SMK Pancasila Surakarta, amounting to 22 students. This type of research uses R & D research. Data collection using informants or resource persons, places and events in progress of learning activities. Data collection techniques using interview and questionnaire method or questionnaire. Validity of data using validity test and reliability of instrument. Data analysis using intractive data model. Procedure in the research is to study potential problem, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, trial usage, product revision, and mass production. This research is done through two model test. Expected by using model of modification of learning strategy True or False and Debate Active in Civics subject at student of class X 2 TKR at SMK Pancasila Surakarta Lesson Year 2016/2017. The results of this study indicate that the learning model is favored by the students themselves, because the learning model is considered new so as to provide a new atmosphere in the learning process of Citizenship Education. Proven the average score of democratic attitude of the students on the test model I = 35.95 with percentage achievement = 69,13%, after the experiment of model II the average score of democratic attitude increased to 37,18 with percentage of achievement = 71,5%, then score average responsibility on the test model I = 20.18 with the percentage of achievement = 72.07%, after the test of model II pthe average score increased to 21.27 with the percentage of achievement = 75.96%. Based on these results means that there is a significant development, the model of learning strategy modification True or False and Detabe Active able to develop a democratic attitude and responsibility in class X 2 TKR in SMK Pancasila Surakarta Lesson 2016/2017.
