Abstract

Language has a very important role in the process of delivering messages or information because only through the language of information can be accepted by partners said. This study aims to: 1) Describe what kinds of speech acts are contained in the text of the re-story of students in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon, and 2) Describe the expressive speech form and function contained in the text of the re-story of students in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon. This research uses content analysis method. This approach examines the story text of the students. Sources of data in this study are documents and informants. Data collection techniques used in this study are document analysis, interviews and literature study. Data analysis techniques in four ways: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The technique of data validity used in this research is by triangulation of data source and informant review. The results show that expressive speech in the story text of the students can serve to express: admiration, arrogance, courage and worry, happy and welcome. The most widely found utterance is the expressive utterance which expresses pleasure, function and awe, and is at least a function of pride.
