Abstract
According Merdhiyanto (2015) in his research entitled Sand-Lime Stabilization Column On The Consolidation Of Soft Clay Soil, it is known that the original soil in the village Troketon, subdistrict Pedan, Klaten district including the high plasticity inorganic clay with a value LL = 82%, PL = 31.80%, 13.67% and SL = PI 50.20%. This resulted in damage, including cracks in the walls of buildings, cracks and waves on the pavement, the ground collapsed, the collapse of a construction, and so forth. One way to overcome these problems do soil stabilization. Wiqoyah (2007) tras the clay can improve the physical properties of the clay, increase the angle of friction, lowering cohesion, and improve the soil shear parameters. This study uses a mixture of tras 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The result of the original soil physical properties and soil mixture obtained moisture content, density, liquid limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index, sieve No. 200 declined, while specific gravity and the plastic limit increase. AASHTO original soil classification according to the native land entered into the group of A-7-6, while the soil mix tras entered into the group A-7-6 and A-7- USCS soil classification according to the original soil and soil mix tras entered into the group CH. DST test results show the increase in value of cohesion and the friction angle value. The biggest cohesion value is 1,278 kg / cm 2 while the greatest value in the friction angle is 15,88°. Normal voltage value of 4,47 kg / cm 2 and nilai tegangan shear increases. The shear stress value of 2,578 kg / cm 2.
