Abstract
Batik is one of Indonesian’s pride that famous to worldwide. Batik has been recognized by UNESCO as world heritage in 2009. Batik have some types is stamp batik, hand-write, printing, painting, and others. Stamp batik is the most famous among all kinds of batik because it’s more cheap price, comfort, and many motif the hand-write batik. On the production process of making stamp batik, the raw material that is widely used is water. Water is natural resource that has irreslaceable function for human life. Most of the water on Earth is sea water which is 96,5 % and the rest is fresh water. To minimize the water consumption on the production process of stamp batik, therefore water footprint assessment is done, the purpose of this research is to know the result score in the process of stamp batik production and the next is to make proposed improvements addressed to the ukm. The calculation result obtained from the impact score and production process of batik cap is 0,06 m3 Keyword: Stamp batik, Water Footprint Assessment, Water
