In the process of making batik cap still manually with unnatural work postures and repetitive movements that can cause musculoskeletal complaints. Based on these problems the purpose of this study is to analyze the work posture and ergonomic risk factors in the manufacture of batik. The study used WERA method to analyze six physical risk factors in the workplace including posture, repetition, strength, vibration, stress contact and duration of action. The NERPA method is an ergonomic method used to analyze and assess posture on the upper body. The results of the assessment analysis using the WERA method showed that 16 work activities showed that 16 work activities carried out by the operator had medium risk level. Meanwhile, the result of the assessment analysis using the NERPA method of 17 work activities showed that there are 2 work activities that are at risk level 2. There are 4 activities that are at risk level 3. There are 11 activities that are at risk level 4.
