Abstract
Background: Health has important role for all people because without a good health, every human being would have difficulty on doing their daily activities. In Indonesia there are several health problems that needed attention from the government, among others, is the oral health problem. Several factors that influenced a person to utilize health services are knowleadge, attitude and the amount of information sources. The government's effort to guarantee the society to be prosperous especially in the field of health has been done since several years ago, one of which was the issuance of BPJS program. BPJS is a Social Security Administering Agency. Health BPJS has started to be implemented since January 1, 2014. There are two participants of BPJS: PBI and non PBI. One of the non PBI participants are civil teachers. Objectives: To know the description of knowledge, attitude and amount of information sources about dental health facilities BPJS on rank 1V / A civil teachers in Sriwedari Surakarta. Methods: The research type was descriptive research with quantitative approach on civil teachers at Sriwedari Surakarta school as much as 83 respondents of knowledge, attitudes and amount of information sources variables on as rank 1V / a civil teachers about dental health facilities BPJS using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by trend testing with scoring. Results: The results showed good knowledge as much as 89.15%, positive attitude as much as 68.67% and the number of sources of information as much as 51.80%. Conclusion: Rank IV / a civil teachers subjected on this study mostly had a good level of knowledge, a agreeable attitude and most information sources are internet, health workers and magazines about BPJS dental facilities.
