Abstract

Proverb is one of the cultural products produced by humans. Cultural products are produced on the basis of human intelligence. One of the intelligences used to produce a proverb is ecological intelligence. This study aims to (1) describe the unit of intelligence-based lingual proverb archipelago valuable ecological character, (2) Describe and said payload ecological intelligence and character maxim value archipelago, and (3) Creating a learning strategy based on ecological intelligence worth learning Indonesian character. This study is descriptive qualitative. Data is a lexicon of ecological intelligence markers. Data sourced from written language and collected using the method refer to the technique of note. Data analysis utilizes referential and pragmatic reference pad methods. The results of this study were (1) Shape lingual unit described ecological intelligence through the lexicon used in proverbs archipelago. The lexicon used is animal lexicons, plant lexicons, and ecosystem lexicons, (2) The charge of ecological intelligence is described by the markers of ecological intelligence. Marker ecological intelligence is realized in the description of animal behavior, animal and plant forms, characteristics of animals and plants, ecosystems metaphorical characteristics with human life, (3) ecological intelligence-based learning strategies are implemented in producing the text poem containing ecological intelligence and character values.
