Abstract

Seeing the low level of interpersonal intelligence in children, researchers and teachers innovate in learning that can develop interpersonal intelligence. The innovation that researchers offer is the method of singing. Specifically, the researcher aims to develop children's interpersonal intelligence through the method of singing in the children of Aisyiyah Pabelan Kartasura Kindergarten B group of academic year 2015/2016. Research conducted by researchers including Classroom Action Research (PTK) or in English in call with classroom action research (CAR). The results of this study through the method of singing can increase understanding of the students in Group B Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pabelan Kartasura Year lesson 2015/2016, the students obtained in this cycle of pre-cycle has not been increased because this stage before the child's ability to comprehend the ability to accept the material Learning on the method of singing is that obtained and about the percentage obtained by kindergarten Aisyiyah Pabelan Kartasura 34,75% on average. While in the first cycle based on the ability of students' understanding in accepting learning materials by singing method through in improving the learning done in order to achieve improved method of pursuit then performed cycle I with an average of 41,68% in the improvement of cycle I still have not achieved mastery or success. Because it is perceived ability of children still can be optimized, hence researcher continue in next step, that is doing research of class action in cycle II. While the result of students' understanding ability in receiving learning materials by singing method through is 41,68%. With this cycle II can be seen to increase and achieve better mastery. Student achievement in cycle II which has reached 51,13%. And has surpassed the indicator of success, the researcher considers enough research on cycle II because it has been successful in improving students' understanding in accepting learning by applying the method of singing through method of singing in Aisyiyah Pabelan Kartasura Kindergarten year 2015/2016.
