Abstract
This research has two objetives. (1) to describe morphology process in opinion column on Kompas newspaper published on Friday, 26 th December 2014 in learning bahasa at Senior High School grade XII. (2) to describe re-planning the teaching materials about opinion column on Kompas newspaper in learning bahasa at Senior High School grade XII. This research is belong to qualitative research. This research is began on 7 th March to 20 th July 2017. The data is the morphology process which taken from Kompas newspaper that published on Friday, 26 th December 2014. The collecting data is used document analysis, ambiguity and literature study. The analyzing the data is used agih method. The data validity in this research is used triangulation technique. It has two major discussion in this research. (1) the morphology process in opinion column on Kompas newspaper published on Friday, 26 th December 2014 consists of three morphology process, they are: affix, reduplication and compositum. (2) the observation of morphology process becomes as re-planning the teaching material at Senior High School grade XII on 2013 curriculum KD 4.1 as teaching material which is interpretating editorial/opinion text.
