Abstract
Being a teacher is not easy, because it required a high verbal ability has, that can speak in front of the class, especially when explained in class. In addition to that required to pour all over his thoughts orally in order to be understood and understood by their students with using the right lug anyway. But in fact there are still some prospective teacher still feel anxious, and could not control myself when in front of the class. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the regulation of emotions with class speaking anxiety in students faculty of teacher training and educational sciences at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. To know the level of regulation emotion and anxiety class speaking the students the teaching and science education in muhammadiyah university surakarta .The method used a quantitative approach .The data using the scale in gave the sample 60 using the random technique clusters of sampling in the teaching and education science muhammadiyah university surakata .Analysis of data to research it uses SPSS 16.0 for windows program to employing correlation product moment . The result of this research showed the connection negative very significant between regulations emotion there what he called anxiety class speaking, demonstrated from value r of -0,474 with significance p = 0,000 ( p < 0,01 ), which means the higher regulations emotion the low anxiety class speaking, vice versa. Categorisation on the variables of regulations emotion and it can be seen rerata empirical (RE) = 73,60 and reratahipotetik( RH) = 75, and on the variables of anxiety spoke before common in medium category this can be seen from empirical rerata (RE) = 49,13 and rerata hipotetik ( RH) = 45.Contributions evektif variable regulations emotion with anxiety class speaking common of 22.4 % and 77,6 % influenced by other factors.
