Abstract
The lack of the society to involve the world of education cause an increasing in to an quality education couldn't develop properly. Through the committee of school, the government hope that in order to be able the school partnership in the course of education in schools, which supports the programs of school in achieving the vision and mission of the school. But the problems show the committee of school only support the quality improvement based on the material or the education budget, while nonmaterial in the form of ideas and the involvement of the committee on the school is a little bit, there are even schools that just write your name the school committee as a form of a formality the school alone, while the structure is not so clear. The purpose of this research is to know if there is the school committee who actually play an active role in school, as the partner school to improve the quality of education, especially in Islamic education. This research is research a qualitative inclined to experiment with the observations of the field directly, namely all the data obtained by referring to the data obtained based on documents obtained, an interview with the school, interviews with the committee and observations from taking part in one of the show. Furthermore, the study began with setting up a basic assumption and the thinking which is then set about systematically in the collection and data management to provide an explanation and arguments. The description and arguments from the processing of data was not affected by the opinion of research alone but should always keep objectiveness, to get the conclusion accordance with the expected goals. In this research shows that the performance of the committee in good implementation of the programs that has been implemented since 2014-2017. Although the elements contained in the membership of the committee are not in accordance with the regulation of education and culture minister number 75 of 2016, but in its performance affects the concern of school committee members to the Nur Hidayah Elementary School, as reflected in its contribution which covers the committee as a consideration, as a Fundraising, as a Supervisor and as a Follow-up complaints who is so neat in programs that have been implemented by the committee in improving the quality of education, especially in Islamic education in SDIT Noor Hidayah of Surakarta.
