Abstract

Law Number 32 Year 2004 regarding Local Government provide an authority to the local government to organize and manage its own governmental affairs according to the principle of regional autonomy and functional assignment with certain restrictions. Therefore, each local government have authority to enact different policy in regulating a certain issue in accordance with the needs of each region, including the policies on licensing services. Licensing services is one of the most important aspect in increasing own-source revenue. The implementation of effective and efficient licensing services is expected to increase the interest of investor to invest their capital in the region. The implementation of the licensing services policy in Boyolali has been implemented by Badan Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu (BPMP2T) Boyolali. Boyolali implementing a one-stop service method as implementation of licensing service policy, it is expected to shorten the time of granting business license and can reduce the cost incurred by the applicant permit, so that will facilitate the applicant in filing the permit application process. BPMP2T has been developing online licensing services, with the aim that the applicants can also have an active role in the implementation of licensing services. The ease that has been given, is expected to increase the interest of investors to invest in Boyolali district, thus can increase the number and value of business investment in the district Boyolali to increase the own-source revenue.
