Abstract

PT. Dan Liris is an integrated textile company (spinning, weaving, finishing, printing, garments). This study aims to find out the process of implementation of work agreements between workers and batik entrepreneurs, to know the application of the rules in the company and to know the rights and obligations between workers and employers, to know about the legal responsibility if one party made a mistake. The research method is normative because it examines the law based on the rule of law and the principle in law with the type of descriptive research because it will thoroughly and systematically describe the implementation of work agreement between workers and batik entrepreneurs. The results showed that the process of implementation of work agreements between workers with batik entrepreneurs PT. Dan Liris is preceded by a prospective worker applying for a job to PT. Dan Liris then follow the test of the prospective worker, if accepted, then do the work agreement between the workers and the employer, the agreement occurs when both parties signed a work agreement made by the employer. From the agreement there arises rights and obligations to be settled between the worker and the employer, the worker must perform his duties as a worker and perform as instructed by the entrepreneur, while the entrepreneur must fulfill his duty of giving a decent wage to the worker to live his life. Of the rights and obligations there is a legal consequence if one of the workers made a mistake. Errors may be based on default for breach of Agreement and Unlawful Acts for violating pre-defined rules, therefore the offender shall be liable to indemnify.
