Abstract

Education is the foundation in development of a nation that put forward the intelligence of mind, mental, and spiritual. As with education, character is also fundamental to humans. Now, the rise of morality cases involving students in Indonesia is one of the government's strong concerns. So the character formation to the child must be started early with the program of character building in the school curriculum, one of the Diniyah Program. This study aims to: 1) To describe the value of any character that is implanted through Diniyah Program in SD Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen, 2) To know the implementation of Diniyah Program in SD Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Sragen in instilling student character values. The research model used is field research and qualitative approach, with research subjects are students, teachers and principals. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on this research, it can be concluded that: 1) Implementation of Diniyah Program can inculcate students' character values such as: religious, honest, discipline, creative, independent, spirit, love homeland, friendship, social care and responsibility, 2) Implementation of Diniyah Program can effectively based on the objective set by the school that includes 3 components of the program, namely tarbiyah jismiyah, tarbiyah aqliyah, tarbiyah adabyah, and support system summarized in the school programs are: Seven Minute Lecture (KULTUM), Infaq Students, Assisted Prayer and Wudhu, Subuh Call, Home Visit, Baitul Arqam (MABIT), Coming to Puberty, Keputrian, Celebration of Islamic Day and Celebration of National Day (PHBI and PHBN).
