Abstract

This research aims to know the form of default and responsibility of the parties in the occurrence of negligence and settlement of dispute between PT. PLN (Persero) Branch Wonogiri with customers. The research method uses descriptive empirical juridical method. Data source consists of primary data that is interview and secondary data that is primary, secondary and tertiary legal data. Method of data collection through library study and field study (interview), then data are analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research concluded that the form of default and responsibility in the agreement of the use of electric current of PT. PLN is negligent in electricity payments, tweaking kWh, increasing power without the knowledge of PLN, and theft of electricity. The settlement of negligence in the payment of electricity accounts is that consumers are liable for fines that have been mentioned in the agreement, the settlement in violation of the kWH fraud that the customer is given as a debt-settlement called a non-taglis receivables and non-tagliary penalty sheets or (non-electricity bill) The power of not knowing the PLN is an administrative sanction that is a fine of at least one million rupiah and penalties for violations of electric current theft by imprisonment for 3 (three) months and a fine of Rp 3 million.
