Abstract
Stroke is a brain nerve disorder caused by damage to blood vessels in the brain that occur in temp about 24 hours or more. Post-stroke sensory and motor disruption results in impaired balance including muscle weakness, decreased soft tissue flexibility, as well as impaired sensory control. Core Stability Exercise (CSE) and Compelled Body Weight Shifting Exercise (CBWSE) is a form of exercise to help improve postural balance especially in stroke patients. The research method used was to provide Core Stability Exercise (CSE) exercises to 6 people and Compelled Body Weight Shifting Exercise (CBWSE) to 6 different people, to the postural stroke postural postural enhancement measurements previously measured using Berg Balance Scale (BBS) to get pre-test data. CSE and CBWSE were each performed 6 treatments. After that return the sample is measured using the same parameters to get the post-test data. Furthermore, pre-test and post-test data in paired sample t test to find out whether or not there is influence, and test Independent sample t test to know whether or not difference of influence of mean of second giving action. The results showed that there was a difference between pre-test and post-test data on each action (P = 0,000) so it can be interpreted that there is an effect of Core Stability Exercise (CSE) and Compelled Body Weight Shifting Exercise (CBWSE) against Postural stroke heal rate. But there is no difference in the average pre test and posttest between the two exercises because (P = 1,000) where there is difference of influence when average (P <0.05).
