Abstract

The mosque is a place of worship, a mean of gathering, studying, experience exchange, and a centre of dakwah. The mosque in Rasulullah SAW era, beside it was used to pray, also served as a place of worship, a place of education, fostering jama’ah, a centre of dakwah and culture, a centre of community regeneration, and a base of the revival of the muslims. Mosque management education is needed to achieve the functions of mosque, to make a good structured planning, to implement appropriate activities, to give a good evaluation, to have a neat organization and effective also efficient working mechanism. Through the mosque management education will be formed a professional committee who are able to select and sort the various priorities of life, so that the congregation activitiesbased on education can be created. The objectives of this research are to describe the implementation and the influence of educational management of Syarif Mosque at Saripan Makamhaji to the development of adolescent moral. The methods used in collecting data are interview, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data sources are primary and secondary data. Primary data are taken from the first source in the field. In this research, primary data source used is the observation of the events held in Syarif Mosque at Saripan Makamhaji, and secondary data are taken from the second source. Secondary data here are gained from the interview with the board of the mosque. The method used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative one, that is in the form of naration or paragraph not number. The processes of analyzing data are through data collection, data reduction, and data display. Furthermore, the conclusion is taken by using inductive method that starts from the field then formulation conclusion of uniqueness. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded that mosque education management for enhancing the adolescent moral is a process of achieving goals through thamselves and others. Mosque education managementfor enhancing the adolescent moral consists of several elements, such as art and science, which are the tools to make the process of resource and financial management also functional.Functional mechanism itself consists of planning, organizing, humanizing, actuating, controlling, integrating, evaluating. These elements are run by mosque board in order to achieve the goal of fostering moral of adolescents by organizing mosques activities based on non-formal education.
