Abstract
The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the role of principals in applying quality management education, 2) To describe the quality improvement factors of education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research 3) To know the factors of quality improvement of education. The results of the research are the main points of the findings are: 1) Improving the quality of learning in SDN Karangasem 06 Batang how the principal can manage school management and the ability to set Vision, Mission, Educational Objectives SDN Karangasem 06 Batang and Target appropriate according to school situation and condition, 2) Improving the quality of competence of headmaster leadership in carrying out its duties and functions is determined by self-motivation of the principal and how to manage learning input, organize learning process, produce learning outcomes, 3) Overall condition of school principal SDN Karngasem 06 Batang in carrying out its duties and functions As an Educator, as a Manager, as an Administrator, as a Supervisor, as a Leader, as an Innovator, as an excellent Motivator so that the principal can be an example in carrying out his duties. The conclusions of this research are 1) Headmaster of SDN Karangasem 06 Batang in applying quality management of education by realizing the school policy itself, 2) Headmaster of SDN Karangasem 06 Batang in carrying out its leadership has performed its role and function as Edukator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor , Leaders, Innovators and Motivators as well as Quality Management Teachers with good success, 3) Educational quality improvement factors in SDN Karangasem 06 Batang include teachers, students, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the role of the community or the surrounding environment that makes the school.
