Abstract
Organic fertilizers are the collective name for all types of organic matter of plant and animal origin that can be converted into nutrients available to plants. Organic materials (straw compost) as suppliers of various nutrients (C, N, P, K, S, and other compounds) in a wide range as a result of the decomposition process. Antioxidant activity on dragon fruit skin is greater than activity in fruit. In 1 mg / ml red dragon fruit skin can inhibit 83.48% 1.02% of free radicals. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the provision of liquid organic fertilizer waste dragon fruit skin and rice straw to the growth and content of antioxidant plants kangkung land. This study used an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with two factors. Factor 1 is fertilizer dose (P1 = 7ml, P2 = 10ml, P3 = 13ml), and factor 2 is watering time (W1 = 3 days, W2 = 7 days, W3 = 9 days). Data analysis using two-way anova. The highest increase of ground kangkung in P1W3 treatment was 1.22cm, the highest wet weight value in P1W2 treatment was 0.76g and the highest antioxidant content in P3W2 treatment was 92.2%. There was no influence of dose interaction and time of watering on the weight and there was an interaction effect on the increase of antioxidant level and the height of the ground water kangkung.
