Abstract

Data collection systems untouched-card technology have been widely used in companies and universities for the purposes of data collection of incoming and non-entry employees. This kind of technology has not been widely used in the class attendance system, many of which still rely on journal books as a media attendance. This method is considered less effective and efficient for student data collection at the end of the lecture, disturbing the student concentration at the time of delivery of the material by the lecturer, enabling the students to manipulate the attendance data by doing attendance or attendance, and reduce the students who often late to college. In this final project attendance system uses RFID as a medium of attendance and micro SD as data storage lecture. RFID has 2 main media, namely RFID reader as reader and RFID card as data storage which has unique serial number. RFID card is used to store student data in the form of name and parent number, as well as faculty lecturer containing the name of lecturer and course. The RFID reader will read the RFID card data then the data will be displayed on the 16x2 LCD. This tool only works when the data read is data from the lecturer. After the data appears, the lecturer can choose the course, then the new student can be presence with the time limit specified, because if there are students presence deadline system will not store the student data. This is so that students can arrive on time. The lecture data is automatically stored on a micro SD that can be easily retrieved. Keyword : Class presence, RFID, micro SD, LCD 16x2.
