Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of kinesthetic intelligence through dance learning in TK Pertiwi Banaran Sukoharjo. This research is designed with Class Action Research (PTK) which each cycle consists of "planning, implementation, observing, reflecting". This research is collaborative between researchers and classroom teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, field notes and documentation. The subjects of this research are children of group B and kindergarten teacher of Banaran Sukoharjo Pertiwi. The results showed an increase in kinesthetic intelligence through dance learning. This increase is evidenced by the increasing percentage of kinesthetic intelligence from before the action or pre cycle up to cycle II, when pre cycles of children kinesthetic intelligence increase reach 51% from the determined target that is 50%, cycle I equal to 64% from determined target that is 60% And the second cycle of 82% of the determined target is 80%. Based on the results of this study conclusions can be drawn is the application of dance learning can improve the kinesthetic intelligence of children group B in TK Pertiwi Banaran Sukoharjo.
