Abstract

Reception of new employees is very important for a company to obtain new employees who will occupy an available position. In some companies are still using methods that have not been subjective and manual in the assessment of new employee candidates, it is difficult for the selector in the assessment of new employee candidates. For that purpose, a new employee acceptance decision support system in CV.Garuda Mandiri by using simple additive weighting method. The method is chosen because it can determine the weighting value of each criterion specified, then processed in rank and selected for the best alternative results, the alternatives referred to herein are eligible to be accepted as new employees based on specified criteria. The purpose of this study is to facilitate and accelerate the selection and assessment process for prospective new employees. In this decision support system there are 4 criteria along with attributes and weights .. The criteria include GPA weighs 30% weighted benefit, Test Results and Written Interview weighs 25% weighted benefit, Age criteria weighs 20% cost. From the calculation criteria is obtained value of each alternative and the highest value is selected as an employee. In the system results show that the results of the calculations indicate a valid match or similar considering that the test results using data on a small scale.
