Abstract
Information Systems Exam Preparation National High School Junior High School (SMP) IP Al Madinah is a very important agenda for national exams. The materials tested are mathematics and science. With these programs, students are expected to pass a national exam with satisfactory results. However, the fact tryout system that is applied in the Junior High School (SMP) Al Madinah IP still has several problems, among them the student must do the exam questions manually and requires a long time. This manual system can cost quite a lot to print a number of questions and answer sheets. In addition, students also do not have a report on the results of its own test scores and the time period to obtain tryout value report can not be processed in a short time. In order to solve the above problems need to be made application that can replace the tryout process that was previously done manually can be implemented by computer-based test as well as to show the calculation of the value directly. The purpose of this research is to design the system and software application IP Junior tryout in Al Madinah. 2 The method in this research through interviews, observation, and literature. System design is made by using the system design Use case diagrams and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). Equipment used in the form of computers, laptops, network LAN and a router. The results of this study have been Implementaon national exams tryout application that can manage data on, set the subjects, the test of time, to show the value and display the results of recapitulation of students' grades. In the exam process this application has the ability to show the exam questions at random and each workmanship problems limited by time. If time runs out the system will automatically terminate the test and display the corresponding results about the value that has been done. The average yield of the questionnaire between teachers and students gained 79%.
