Abstract

The development of information technology, particularly the internet has created a kind of new business opportunities and, where a growing number of business transactions conducted electronically or often. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of experience, reputation, privacy, and security against consumer confidence in the transaction of buying and selling online. The population in this research is a community in the surakarta. The sample is determined by the method of purposive sampling so that the retrieved sample as many as 96 respondent. The data obtained are then analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with t test, f test, and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that a variable experience, reputation, privacy, and security influemce on consumer confidence in the transaction of buying and selling online.
