Abstract

Increasing the number of vehicles that greatly increased the number of traffic accidents. Traffic accidents are caused by driver factor and vehicle factor. Traffic accidents ntrolled by the safety driving. The purpose of this study is to know factors relating to correlation safety driving of bus driver at tirtonadi bus station. The research is servational research. The research uses cross-sectional approach. Sample was 242 drivers, and taking sample use purposive sampling. instruments Research use questionnaire, analysis of data the research uses the chi square and fisher exact. Research results shows there was no relation between the ages with safety driving behavior by bus driver, with p=0,938. There was no correlation level of education with safety driving behavior by bus driver with p=0,545.There was no correlation between experient work with safety driving behavior by bus driver, with p=0.078. There was a correlation between level of knowledge with with safety driving behavior by bus driver, with p=0.019.There was no correlation between duration work a day with safety driving behavior by bus driver with p=1.There was a correlation between completeness driving with with safety driving behavior by bus driver, with p= 0,003. There was a correlation between bus feasibility with with safety driving behavior by bus driver at tirtonadi bus station with p=0.049
