Abstract

This study aims to 1) Describe the form of reduplication in anecdotal text of Solopos newspaper January-February 2017 edition, 2) Describe the type and function of reduplication in anecdotal text of Solopos newspaper January-February 2017 edition, and 3) to describe the implication with Indonesian language learning SMA Class X. The object of this research is the use of reduplication in anecdotal text of Solopos newspaper, data collection technique in this research is done by using library method, refer to, and record. This is done because the object in this study is the words or sentences contained in anecdotal text. This research uses Agih method. The results of the study, there are four forms of reduplication or repetition found in the anecdotal text of the Solopos newspaper, that is the whole repetition, partial repetition, repetition by the process of affixing fiks, and repetition with phoneme changes.
