Abstract

The use of instructional media in practical activities is one of the most important things. The use of learning media is expected to improve student outcomes. The use of different learning media will influence student practice score. Students of academic year 2013/2014 use video learning media and Powerpoint, while students of academic year 2014/2015 use video learning media, Powerpoint and Student Worksheet. This study aims to determine the value of Animal Anatomy practice using video learning media and Powerpoint, while students of academic year 2014/2015 using video learning media, Powerpoint and Student Worksheet. Sources of data in this study obtained through interviews and documentation. This research uses descriptive analysis and non parametric statistical analysis that is Mann Whitney U Test. The result of descriptive analysis is known that, the use of Student Worksheet learning media to produce better value than without using Student Worksheet. The result of the hypothesis test can be seen that the significance value is 0,000 <0.005, which means that the use of instructional media has an effect on the student practicum value.
