Abstract
Strawberry fruit juice is the fruit juice more often consumed or popular by student UMS, because it has the benefit for lowering cholesterol levels, cripple the work of active cancer, reduce symptoms of stroke, contain anti allergy and antiinflammatory, and rich in vitamin C. This research aims to know the feasibility of strawberry fruit juice on consumption around campus UMS regulations BPOM. The research design using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) 1 factor is strawberry fruit juice. The eligibility test is performed using the method pour plate on Nutrient Agar (NA), then incubated for 24 hours and counted the number of bacterial colonies grow, to determine the feasibility consumption of strawberry fruit juice samples with the Regulation of the Head BPOM RI Number ISBN 978-602-3665-11-2 in 2012 that amount of bacteria contamination shouldn’t exceed 1 x 105 colony/g. The result of this research obtained on trader 1 is the quantity of bacterial contamination of 1,7 x 108 colony/g, the tader 2 is 1,9 x 108 colony/g, while the trader 3 is 3,9 x 109 colony/g. Conclusion the results of the research the feasibility of strawberry fruit juice consumption on campus UMS less worthy of consumption.
