Abstract
Community empowerment will optimize the local wisdom as well as the various potentials in the village will be explored to be developed with the community as executor so that later development of the village will run by itself and the community also feel the changes and benefits of the village development. The development of the village can explore the resources of both natural and human so that later can become the seed of the village to be developed. Rural development will be done by empowering all potential in the village, after running then all the potential is also growing and the role of government is to support the development of tourist villages by setting various policies that can support the development of tourist villages so that it can become a tourist village to be one place that can visited by tourists both from domestic and abroad, in addition to making the village as a tourist village can help the economy of society becomes better. The research method used is descriptive quantitative methods. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and selecting speakers and questionnaires. Informant determination technique with purposive sampling technique. Method of data analysis in this study using univariate analysis. The result of the research shows that community participation in village empowerment Tanon Village Ngrawan Getasan Semarang Village as a tourist village is also in accordance with the level of community participation includes participation planning, implementation, utilization of results and evaluation and monitoring
