Abstract

This research has four aims. First, to describe the adverbial meaning of aspect marker of the Indonesian Translation of Quran. Second, to describe the adverbial meaning of disclaimer marker of TTA. Third, to describe adverbial meaning of amount marker of the TTA. Fourth, to describe the implementation of the research result of the adverbial meaning of aspect, disclaimer, and amount marker of the TTA as teaching materials for Junior Higt School (SMP). This is a descriptive qualitative research. Methods of data collection applied in this research are scruteninzing and documentation. The data collection techniques of the research are scrutenizing and taking note. Data analyzis is conducted by using the padan methods. Based on the result of the discussion, four conclusions can be taken. First, adverbial meaning of aspect marker of the TTA is to state an activity/ action, event, condition, or characteristic (1) which will go on, (2) on progress at the beginning, (3) whilst on going, (4) not yet done, and (5) done. It also states the frequency of an activity/ action, event, condition, or characteristic. Second, adverbial meaning of disclaimer marker is to state the meaning of “denial” and the meaning of “equation”. Third, adverbial meaning of amount marker is to state the quantity for a partion and quantity for a whole. Fourth, the result of this study can be implemented as teaching materials for the grade VII of Junior High School (SMP) curriculum 2013. The implementation is conducted on the Core Competency (KI) 3 of the Basic Competency (KD) 3.14, that is analyzing the structure and language feature of the folk poetry (pantun/ rhyme, syair/ phoem, and other local poetries) read and heard.
