Abstract
Financial management is important in educational institution. Financial management should be well done in order to impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of work programme. Student’s invoice management in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura is still done manually by using a book, and it is hampered administration staff’s work performance while doing a recaps of the student’s tuition status who have or have not done the payment. Based on that situation, computerization is needed by building an information system as an action to increase administration staff’s work performance in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. The research’s purpose is to produce an information system that simplify adminstration staff’s work in managing student’s invoice so it will be advantageous for time, effort, and cost aspects. This system is developed by using SDLC waterfall model, created by using Framework PHP Laravel as a support system, and MySQL as database management tool. Data collection was done by using observation technique and interviewing at school. The result of this research is payment billing information system. This system has features such as input payment, recap payment status, recap of payment data, manage student data, manage class data, and manage packet data. Result showed that system is working properly due to the research’s purpose and according to 97,62% respondents feels satisfied and agreed that the information system is very helpful and considered as effective and efficient for doing student’s invoice recaps.
