Abstract
One of the factors causing the failure of Islamic religious education so far is the low moral noble learners weakness of Islamic religious education in Indonesia due to education so far only emphasizes the transfer of science to the students transfer process there is no process of tranformation of religious noble values to learners to guide become a person with strong personality and noble character. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the efforts of teachers of Islamic Education and the constraints faced in menchild akhlakul karimah students in SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura. The benefits of this research are, 1). Theoretically add the treasury of knowledge in the world of education, especially about the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Efforts in Improving Student Akhlakul Karimah, 2). Practically can provide benefits, thought contribution and as a consideration for SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura, especially teachers of Islamic Education, in improving akhlakul karimah students. This research is included in field research by using qualitative descriptive method. Then the data collection methods used are, observation, interviews, and documentation and data analysis using inductive methods. Based on the analysis of data obtained can be concluded that the effort of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving akhlakul karimah students in SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura by applying several methods, namely: making rules, giving punishment, giving awards, modeling, and always supervise in student behavior. The constraints faced by the teacher that is, the lack of awareness about the importance of morals, parents who do not give the motivation and a good example for their children, the mistakes of students in choosing friends mingle.
