Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in attention, responsibility, environmental accounting reporting, as well as environmental audit on Universities in Yogyakarta and Surakarta related to issues surrounding the environment. In this study the type of data used is quantitative data. The study population consisted of internal auditors at Universities in Yogyakarta and Surakarta as many as 49 respondents. All the population in this study is being the sample. Data collection using questionnaires. Analyzed using Independent Sample T-Test and Mann Whitney U-Test with SPSS 20 analysis tools. The results showed there are no differences about environmental awareness, environmental responsibility and environmental reporting between Universities in Yogyakarta and Surakarta related issues surrounding the environment, there is difference of environmental audit between Universities in Yogyakarta and Surakarta.
