Abstract
The soil is a supporter of structural strength. The soil type is affected by the geographical state of a place, not all soil types have the same properties so it is not necessarily that the soil in an area is either used as a supporter of the structure. For example, the land in Beluk, Bayat, Klaten area is often damaged, especially on the road, from existing cases, if the road is repaired not in accordance with the planned age of the road. The number of bumpy, cracked, and ground part of the road often decreases to one of the factors of damage on the road. This final research use tras as a mixture in stabilizing soil with mixed percentage variation 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10% with consolidation method. The result of physical properties of soil obtained by LL value 80,21%, PL 36,28%, SL 14,72 and PI 43,93%. The result of physical properties of soil test showed that specific gravity value, water content, liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index, percentage value of pass filter , Index group decreased with increasing of tras. The classification of mixed soil according to the AASHTO system falls into groups A-7-5 and A-7-6, while under USCS soil classification systems belongs to the CH group. The result of soil compaction test using Standard Proctor by weight of maximum dry volume has increased and the optimum water content decreases often increase of tras mixture. The largest maximum dry volume weight occurred on the 10% tras mixture with a value of 1.327 gr / cm3. The optimum moisture content decreased the smallest at a 10% mixture with a value of 23%. In consolidation testing as the percentage of tras increases, the Cv (coefficient of consolidation) value increases. Maximum Cv value occurs at 10% tras mixture of 0.0125 cm / dt2. As the percentage of tras value of Cc (compression index) and the value of Sc (settlement of consolidation) decreases, Cc value occurs in the 10% tras mixture of 0.2069 and the smallest settlement of consolidation occurs on the tras mixture of 10% Of 0.0539 cm.
