Abstract

Palm waste and banana pseudo stems are farming wastes have a cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin content that can be used as a medium growing for oyster mushroom. The purpose of this study is determine the addition effect of palm waste and banana pseudo stems on productivity white oyster mushroom. This study was prepared by a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors and 2 replications.Factor 1 weight palm waste: (A0) kontrol, (A1) 150g, (A2) 180g, (A3) 210g. Factor 2 weight banana pseudo stems: (P0) kontrol, (P1) 60g, (P2) 120g. The parameters measured were the number of fruiting bodies and edible mushroom fruit body weight. Data were tested by ANOVA two paths analysis. Based on the analysis of variance showed that the addition palm waste and banana pseudo stems medium afford the effect on amount fruiting bodies and edible mushroom fruit body weight. The best treatment for amount fruiting bodies are A3P2 is 19,5fruit body, while the lowest treatment is A0P0 is 6,25 fruit bodies. The best treatment for body weight of the fruit is A3P2 is 190g, while the lowest treatment is A0P1 is 57,5g.
