Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure, profitability and the size of the companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2015 (A Case Study of Industrial Sector Food And baverages). The dependent variable in this study is the capital structure, profitability, and firm size. The independent variable is the value of the company. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies in the sector of food and baverages listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2015. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 14 companies. Data analysis technique used is by using multiple linear regression. The results of data analysis using partial test (t) study showed that the capital structure affect the value of the company. The company's profitability affect the value of the company. Company size does not affect the value. The predictive ability of the three variables on firm value of 34.4%, as shown in the amount of adjusted R square of 0.470, while 65.6% are influenced by other factors not included in the study. Multiple linear regression equation in this study was formulated into Y = 1.188 (a) + 0,723DER + 0,059ROE - 0,032SIZE + e.
