Abstract
This study attempts to explore the struggle of the truth of the major character on his live. The objective of the research is to analyze the major character based on its structural elements and psychological perspective. In analyzing the psychological aspects, the researcher applies the theory of individual psychological proposed by Alfred Adler. This research belongs to qualitative research, which employs textual data source and the other materials, which are related to the study as secondary data source. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the structural elements the movie present a unity. It appears in the beginning, middle and end of the story. Secondly, the psychological analysis shows the struggle for the truth coming from his inferiority feeling and fictional finalism has pushed him to do some efforts to attain the superiority and he must sacrifice everything. Finally, the psychological analysis shows that people will do everything to achieve their goal.
