Abstract
Batik is one of the products of profit-based organizations such as SMEs. In a cycle of batik production process, it takes some input such as raw material, energy, and other supporting factors. The energy used in batik production process are Electricity, Fuel and Water. The study was conducted in SME Ogud Surakarta. The purpose of the research is to know and evaluate the cost of energy use in the production process. The research used Balanced Scorecard method approach. The results showed that viewed from the perspective of financial energy consumption used in the production process of 313 pieces of batik amounting to Rp 461878,50, while on the perspective of customers energy use costs are in the criteria of moderate to bad indicated from the trend of energy costs that have increased. Based on the results of the discussion that the trend of energy consumption is experiencing an increase caused by three factors, namely Man with problems caused by employee indiscriminacy, employees unfairness about work procedures. Material factor with problem of cause that is difference of fabric type, quality of fuel. Factor method causes problems that have not been created SOP in the production process.
