Abstract

Background : Fracture of the distal humeri dextra 1/3 is the destruction of the lower third of the humeri bone continuity bone right part that caused by trauma. Bone fracture experience would cause damage to surrounding tissues such as ligaments, muscles, tendons and nerves. ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) is a surgery to improve function by restoring stability and reduce the pain of a broken bone that has been reduced with the mounting Plate and the screw is a slab of iron and some screw mounted on a broken bone and serve as immobilisasi. Purpose : To know the execution of Physiotherapy in reducing pain, enhancing the scope of joint motion and increase muscle strength in case of Fracture of the distal humeri dextra 1/3 using Infrared and therapeutic modalities of exercise. Methode : Infra Red (IR) and therapeutic exercise (TL) can reduce the pain, can increase the scope of joint motion at the elbow in the right conditions and can increase muscle strength. Results : After therapy for 4 times the silent pain assessment results obtained T1:2, became the T4:1, pain press T1:4, became the T4:3, pain motion T1 into T4:5: 4, increased the scope of the elbow joint motion (active): S: 0-0-90: T1, T4: be 0-0-95, an increase in the scope of the elbow joint motion (passive): S: 0-0-95: T1, T4 became: 0-0-100, increased muscle strength flexor elbow T1:3 T4:4, become, extensor elbow T1:4-T4:4, become.
