Abstract
Background: Frozen Shoulder or often called Capsulitis Adhesiva is a condition of joints shoulder joints are commonly characterized by the limitations of active and passive motion. The cause is still unknown but adhesive capsulitis has adhesive capsulitis having 3-5% incidence in the general population and reaching 20% in diabetics. This disorder is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders in orthopedic problems. Complaints that often appear on the Frozen Shoulder is pain in the shoulder, limitations of movement, muscle weakness and decreased functional ability. Transcutaneous Electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), therapeutic manual, and exercise therapy in the form of Active Ressisted Exercise can handle it. Objective: to know the management of physiotherapy on Frozen Shoulder Sinistra condition using modalities. Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), therapeutic manual, and exercise therapy in the form of Active Ressisted Exercise in reducing pain, increasing the scope of joint motion (LGS), increasing muscle strength and increasing functional ability Result: after 6 weeks therapy, we got the result of the decrease of T1: 0 cm to T6: 0 cm, T1: 3 cm, T6: 1cm, T1: 6 cm to T6: 4 cm. Increased scope of motion of the flexion-extension joints T1: S = 30-0-100, becomes T6: S = 30-0-135, increased flexor muscle strength T1: 3 to T6: 4, Extensor T1: 3 to T6: 4, adductor T1: 4 becomes T6: 4, Internal rotation T1: 4 becomes T6: 4, External rotation T1: 4 becomes 4 and Increases functional ability using SPADI Index. Conclusions: Transcutaneous Elektrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), manipulation therapy and exercise therapy in the form of Active Resisted Exercise can reduce the pain in the left shoulder, limit the scope of motion of the joints on the left shoulder, and increased muscle strength in the condition of Frozen Shoulder Sinistra
