Abstract
Early literacy skill of childhood was developed early childhood education. Role of parents and teacher have supporting to develop early literacy skill of childhood. Unfortunately, less early skill of childhood can’t supporting parents involvement. So, childhood are formal learning to early literacy skill with preschools teacher or reading private tutorial. The purpose this study is describe teachers’ role to develop early literacy skill, prepare to develop early literacy skill in preschool and parents role to develop early literacy skill of childhood. Data was collected by interview, observation and documentation. The primer subject were four preschool teachers, four parents and secunder subject were forty- four 4-6 years old preschool children. The result shows that teachers role to develop early literacy childhood in school as facilitator, demonstrator, director and motivator. Then, prepare to develop early literacy skill in preschool use book knowledge, alphabetic knowledge and phonological awareness. Then, parents role to develop early literacy skill as mentoring and teaching. Then, parents role and teachers had supported with cooperated parents and teachers to develop early literacy skill of childhood had known activited and result early literacy skill of childhood.
