Abstract

The negative behavior of students in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta are as follow; behavior of low values honor and solidarity. The behaviors are caused by some factors, that are; living on the suburbs or borders, the broken home family, lives with grandfather and grandmother, following the punk lifestyle. Education is a process toward a positive change that can build a good and strong character.The integration of character value in akhlak subject is a strategy to instill a good character values for students. The research background aims to describe the planing, implementation and evaluation of the integrateed character in learning Ahlaq subject in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The research is qualitative with etnography design. Data collection technique: interview, observation and documentation. Validities of data are with trianggulation techniques and source trianggulation. The data analysis uses three stages that are data reduction, data presentation, and with drawal of conclution with verification. The results showed: 1) Planing of teacher’s moral learning to basic competence. The planing of integrating character values in schools is observed in accordance with the vision and integration of the curriculum with the religious curriculum. 2) Implementation of character integration in learning morals subject through prelminary stage. Core and cover. The result of the develop and entrenched in the behavior of student. 3) Evaluation of characteristic cover two from that written and obsevation. Evaluation of the integration of character values in the moral has been done by the school to know the succes of the program. The evaluation intruments are code of conduct guidelines, observations, and case books
