Abstract

The process of reduplication not only found in the area, but also commonly found in the newspaper. This study researching about the use of reduplication in the newspaper kompas edition Desember 2016. The purpose of this study to find out forms reduplication, knowing the kind of reduplication, knowing the function reduplication, know the meaning contained in the form of reduplication, and knowing implications research reduplication this with language learning Indonesia. Methods used in this study is the kind of research thedescriptive kualitatif. Based on the results of research, used data in this study number 70 reduplikasi. Consisting of (1) reduplication of entire basic form, (2) partial reduplication, (3) reduplication of sound changes, and (4) reduplication form of unique. The form of reduplication more dominate the whole shape of the basis of the other reduplication. While the number of the form of reduplication most little contained in the king of reduplication form of uniqe. There is only one form of reduplication.
