Abstract

Stroke is a serious problem in the world because it can cause physical kecatatan long-term and sudden death. The cause of stroke is the rupture (rupture) of blood vessels in the brain and or occur thrombosis and embolism. As a result, the brain ceases to function and decline in brain function. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia also continues to increase, the risk factors that can lead to stroke consists of two kinds, namely the risk factors that can not beodified such as age, sex, race, and family history and risk factors that can be modified such as hypertension, cardiovascular diseases , diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, sickle cell anemia, poor diet, obesity, smoking and sedentarylifestyles. This scientific paper stacking writer uses descriptive method with case study that pedekatan scientific method with the approach of the nursing process that is collecting data, analyzing the data and draw conclusions data. Writing scientific papers, takes the dilingkup Sukoharjo Village Puskesmas Gatak on 11 February 2017-24 February 2017.
