Abstract

ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION OF SMOKING BEHAVIOR AND CONSUME ALCOHOL IN ADOLESCENT BEHAVIOR IN SMA 5 SURAKARTA By: Ernamawati Ellynasari A common problem that occurs in teenagers is largely a habit or behavior deviates either health, moral and social. Aberrant behaviors that can affect and impact negatively on the health of adolescents. This study aims to describe the behavior of smoking and alcohol consumption behavior in adolescents in SMAN 5 High School of Surakarta. The study uses quantitative descriptive method using cross sectional approach. The study population were all students in SMAN 5 high school of Surakarta. The sample was 90 students with proportional stratified random sampling method. Collecting data using questionnaires, data analysis using descriptive analysis. Conclusions of this research are the smoking behavior by a minority of respondents (27%) with a picture of smoking behavior conducted in adolescents aged 10-15 years, due to their friends who smoke, obtaining cigarettes from home, bought in the supermarket and obtained from friends, smoking when with friends , a smoke shop or cafe, the type of cigarettes smoked cigarettes. Behavior of alcohol consumption in adolescents is done by a minority of respondents (8%) with an overview of consuming alcoholic beverages are mostly men, were first consumed at the age of 10-15 years, due to want to try and be forced, drinks obtained from the Internet and the provision of a friend, carried out in a quiet place, type of drinks consumed by the respondent is class A.
