Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of creative thinking of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sawit in solving pythagoras problems based on the Wallas stages viewed from the students intelligenci type. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research subject is determined through purposive sampling and based on several criteria: ( 1 ) in the intelligenci type categories to be studied (intelligensi superior, above average, average, hampered) and ( 2 ) have good communication skills. From the results of questionnaire test of students intelligenci type obtained the students who have the personality type categories of intelligenci superior, above average,and average . Hence the subjects taken for this study is one person for each category. While, data collected by the Solution Ttest and Interview. The data analysis technique includes three activities that are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validation is done by triangulation of time.
