Abstract

The increase in blood pressure are likely to appear during the elderly. Attempts to control the blood pressure of the elderly can be done by actively participating in the ivities of elderly gymnastics. Elderly will need a good family support so that it can follow the activities of the elderly exercise regularly. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship liveliness elderly doing gymnastics and family support with the stability of the blood pressure of elderly in the village Kandangrejo Klambu Subdistrict Grobogan.This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study all the elderly who recorded through Posyandu in the village Kandangrejo Klambu Subdistrict Grobogan ejumplah 1,477 people. The sample used 123 elderly, using the chnique of random sampling by means of randomly drawn using icrosoft Excel. The statistical test using hi-square. The results showed that there was a relationship between the activity of elderly doing gymnastics with stability blood pressure (p =0.017), and family support relationships with stability blood pressure (p =0.016) in Puskesmas Klambu.
