Abstract

Individual creativity in entrepreneurship. One of the factors that influence the entrepreneurial creativity that is confidence. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and creativity in entrepreneurship in the students of the Faculty of Psychology at the UMS, the level of self-confidence, creativity, entrepreneurship, large effective contribution to the creativity of entrepreneurial confidence. The study population of the Faculty of Psychology University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta year 2013/2014 amounted to 255 forces and the sample of 100 students. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Measuring instrument using a scale. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The results obtained by the correlation coefficient of 0.678 with p = 0.000 (p ≤ 0.01). This means that there is a significant positive relationship between confidence and creativity in entrepreneurship. Category confidence is high. Category creativity of entrepreneurship is high. Large donations effective confidence in the creativity of entrepreneurship in students of the Faculty of Psychology at the UMS is 45.9% and the remaining 54.1% is influenced by other variables outside the variable confidence.
